David Yi-Nan Yeh was born in a water-rich farming village near Taipei City, Taiwan.
He moved to Canada in 1991 and settled down in USA in 1998. He had his formal art
education at Taipei Normal (teacher training) School for 3 years in both traditional
Chinese and Western painting skills. After that, he taught 3 years in an elementary
school.
Besides painting, he had also studied English literature and graduated from National
Taiwan University.
His art is the combination of Oriental meditation with Western subjects. The emotion of
this technique has been communicated mainly by watercolor on silk.
