Imagine, a green composting service that wants your potato peels , vegetable scraping, and any spoiled food. Kleenex and paper towels as well as the stuff you cleaned off the floor. Add in lawn cuttings, vacuum bags, garden waste and, of course, food waste. Anything organic!!! We want it all.
Today we are recycling about 40 % of our total waste, explains Russell Rose, Proprietor. This is good, but we can do so much better. Twenty years ago we threw away everything because we didn't know any better. Ten years ago we started recycling the easy stuff such as paper, glass, aluminum and cardboard.
Russ's recycle & compost removal services is now open for business. We have farmers hungry for fertilizer, and we are always looking for more. We officially opened April 1st. Residential rates: $10 for pickup of one 10 gallon or two 5 gallon containers, which are provided free of charge.
Commercial rates: Based on frequency and volume.
