Job Description:
Due to the increasing level of support required for our mining customers, Cummins Western Canada has an immediate opening for a resident Field Service Technician based out of Tumbler Ridge. The position will be responsible for the efficient and timely repair of customer equipment, troubleshooting engine mechanical and electronic systems, repair and servicing of Cummins engines and re and re of related components.
Requirements:
Certified Journeyman Heavy Duty mechanic
Above average skills in all aspects of Cummins engine troubleshooting and repair, with a preference in K and QSK engines
Competent in the use of INSITE
Possess a clear understanding of electronic control systems
Experience in field service
Able to work unsupervised, be self motivated and have good communication skills
Able to deal effectively with the strong demands of our customers
Strong computer skills
Valid drivers license
