I purchased this guitar new in 1971. From my research on the internet, Mansfield is the name under which Ibanez copy guitars were sold in Canada during the lawsuit era of the early 1970's. The Mansfield 698M and the Ibanez Concord 698 are a copy of the jumbo sized Gibson SJ-200.
There are a few light nick/scratches on the front lower bout. Also, note the slight bowing of the bout below the bridge. A very small part of the end of bridge has very slightly lifted. Comes with original hard shell case.
