Abby - Bullmastiff Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Shuswap Animal ID: 473525 Birthdate: September 13, 2013 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Sadly, Abby's family had to send her to us when they could not find a home where they were moving that they could take a dog her size.Since they have owned her since she was a puppy, they are the only home that Abby has known. Abby is a sensitive dog and it has taken her awhile to feel comfortable here. At first she was quite reluctant to meet new people but has warmed up to all the staff and dog walkers. She may always be cautious with people she has not met before. However, once she is comfortable you will have a friend for life. Abby loves attention and cuddles, although she may just be too large for smaller children. She is very strong. You must like face licks. While she really enjoys having a ball thrown for her , she is not so great at returning it to you. Thankfully she also doesn't return with the squirrels she loves to chase. Strangely for her breed, Abby loves to play in water and chase floating objects. Mostly Abby just wants time, time to be with her guardians, time to enjoy life, and time to grow old with her head on the lap of someone she adores.
