Bentley - Saint Bernard Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Vernon & District Animal ID: 475672 Birthdate: October 15, 2017 - Young Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male This big handsome pooch is Bentley and he's super excited to find his new forever home. Bentley needs an adult only home where his new adopters will have lots of time to spend training with him. Bentley gets along well with other dogs and would likely suit a multi dog home quite well, however he can play a little rough because he just doesn't realize how big he is! Because of his size he's looking for a home with an adequate size yard where he has room to run and play. Bentley is very playful and filled with personality. Once he is comfortable with you he will greet you with full body wags and will bring you a gift which is either a toy or a slobbery smooch! He is still very much a puppy & is jumpy and mouthy when he gets excited, which can be intimidating due to his size. He is currently learning to walk nicely on leash with a harness, and to sit for treats. Luckily he is very food motivated! Bentley can be fearful in new situations, and he will need experienced guardians who are committed to & comfortable with helping him & can provide a consistent environment.
