DESC ServicesCommunity Support Workers DESC Services is a social service agency that supports adults with developmental disabilities. We are currently looking for Community Support Workers to fill the following positions: Wake Nights and Sleep Nights shift, 4 on, 4 off, 11pm-0800 in a home in Vernon as well as in Lake Country On call positions in our staffed residential homes in both Vernon and Lake Country and our Community Inclusion program in Vernon. Successful candidates will have current CPR/ First aid, drivers&rsquo licence, access to a reliable vehicle and preferably have relevant post secondary education and experience in the field. Training can be provided to applicants who show an aptitude for the position but may not have direct education or experience. Experience with mental health issues, Autism, FASD, individuals with communication challenges or CPI training an asset.
