Shelter: BC SPCA - Vernon & District Branch Animal ID: 512853 Birthdate: January 02, 2015 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male Duke is an energetic dog who is looking for a forever home. He loves going on walks and spins with excitement when he sees his leash. Duke is an anxious boy and is especially uncomfortable with being left alone. His separation anxiety leads to him being very vocal, and for this reason he is unsuitable for apartment living. Duke's ideal home would be active and ready to take him on walks and adventures, and then have lots of quiet time in the evenings for snuggles. His guardian should be home often and committed to gradual departure training. Duke can be unsure of strangers and will bark initially, but with some yummy snacks it's easy to win him over. Once you're friends, Duke enjoys curling up on your lap while being pet. If you are interested in Duke, please follow the steps below. ***In order to protect the health of our staff, volunteers and members of the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, we've made changes to our adoption process. 1.
