IT Support Technician (Term)

IT Support Technician (Term) The District of Summerland is looking for an IT Support Technician to work full-time until approximately the end of August 2019. This is an exempt contract with a wage of $32.50 per hour plus 4% vacation pay. The successful applicant will provide technical support to staff on the use of desktop software and install, deploy, maintain, upgrade and retire end-user IT &amp telecom hardware and software. This position requires excellent problem solving, organization and communication skills. A Diploma (2 years) in microcomputer technology, or equivalent experience is required as well as relevant recent experience with computer hardware and software installation and support. A current and valid Class 5 BC Drivers Licence is also required.
