Junior Finance Opportunities Employment Type: Temporary Full Time Interest in working in Finance? ICBC has frequent temporary opportunities in the call centre for entry level positions within the finance department, located at our North Vancouver Head Office! These temporary assignments are typically filled on a 6 month contract basis. As a Treasury Operations Representative, your responsibilities will include payment processing, updating customer accounts, reviewing reports, investigating discrepancies and maintaining accurate records of receipts and payments. Demonstrating a strong ability to concentrate, you must be able to produce accurate results when processing a large volume of detailed and repetitive work. As someone who is calm under pressure, you can prioritize and handle large volumes of work. Applicants interested in this opportunity should have the following: &bull Strong communication and customer service skills as this role works in a phone queue &bull Excellent attention to detail and ability to type accurately and efficiently &bull Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and banking practices is an asset &bull Working knowledge of SAP or generally accepted accounting principles and the Bills of Exchange Act is an asset. The above requirements would typically be acquired through high school graduation and a few years of general office experience where customer service skills and knowledge of basic bookkeeping and banking practices have been learned. The hours of operation are between 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Shifts may vary depending on operational needs.
