Position: BakerLocation: Askew's Uptown Salmon Arm Role Summary Askew's Uptown Salmon Arm is seeking a Baker. This is a full time position and applicants must be available to work graveyard shifts and weekends. Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, heat sources and other equipment to make baked goods such as bread and buns Working with frozen dough product Decorating and displaying finished product Receiving inventory Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is ready for the next shift Education or Experience Experience as a baker is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Knowledge, Skill Abilities and Interests Strong communication skills, time and resource management and planning skills Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems and create amazing baked goods Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early mornings, nights, weekends Ability to work in a fast paced environment, stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances and lift heavy items Must be able to provide excellent customer service &nbsp We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits and pension package.
