Recruiting a Volunteer Food Coordinator-MS Bike Okanagan Experience

Join an incredible team! This position will join the MS Bike Okanagan volunteer committee, working alongside other committee members to make this the event of the summer. This volunteer will work in the weeks prior to the event to organize food and snacks for riders, as well as coordinating food service volunteers on the day of the event. Duties Include: * Solicit and pick up food donations for food tent and rest stops * Review requirements for food and general supplies with site coordinator * Set up food service area on day of event and provide direction to volunteers * Clean up and take down the food tent after the event Time Commitment: * Attend 1.5hrs committee meeting-August * Onsite for the event weekend, providing leadership to event day volunteers and oversight for specific area of work * Meetings and work related to your role encompasses approximately 5-10 hours/month depending on the role and size of the event.
