Traffic Control Person

Traffic Control Person TCP's provide traffic control plan specifications while directing drivers, pedestrians, and workers to a safe route around the road construction sites. They are to continuously assess the safety of sites and equipment; ensure proper safety precautions are taken by all staff and customer/crew, including coordination of changes in traffic flow when two or more team members are working together. They must also ensure proper and thorough completion of traffic control plans and risk assessments before starting any work on the road.
