Children and Family Support Counsellor The Family Resource Centre - Vernon, B.C. The Family Resource Centre (FRC) is a dynamic client-centered social service resource agency with a Mission of providing affordable counselling and support programs to children, youth, adults, and families in the North Okanagan. FRC is seeking a Children and Family Support Counsellor for an 18-month maternity leave contract. The successful candidate will be able to provide a range of bio-psycho-social assessments, create treatment plans, therapeutic interventions, and other required duties as part of the position. Qualifications: BA, BSW, or MSW (Social Work or Counselling preferred); Group Facilitation Skills Excellent communication skills Works from a team perspective Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks required After hours work may be required.
