Home Care Aide

Fully independent elderly couple seeking Home Care Aid with meal preparation and planning, light house keeping, and ADLs. Immediate needs are casual, once a week for 2-4 hours. The successful applicant will have experience in Seniors' Care and will likely be semi-retired or retired and looking for casual part-time work. Formal training and certification would be an asset but not required. Remuneration will be $25-30 per hour. This delightful couple currently live at home, walk everyday together, attend exercise classes at Vernon Rec Centre, and still cycle together during the summer season. Their primary language is English but French speaking is an asset. Their current home care needs are minimal but they are also planning for the future when their needs may change.
