Join Our Team! ARTISTIC DIRECTOR The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society (SAFMS) is seeking to fill the Artistic Director position for the 30th Annual ROOTSandBLUES Festival to take place in August 2022. The new Artistic Director position will begin on October 1, 2021, providing a one month overlap with the current Artistic Director to enable a smooth transition. The SAFMS is a non-profit, charitable organization that presents the annual ROOTSandBLUES Festival (SARB) and is currently planning its 29th festival for August 2021. Taking place in the beautiful Shuswap Lake area in the interior of BC, the festival has been a cultural presence in the community for over two decades. The SAFM mission is to present excellent world class, culturally diverse music, and artistic experiences to enrich and build community.
