Corky - Terrier Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Shuswap Branch Animal ID: 525371 Birthdate: March 15, 2018 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male Of all of the dogs we received at our Shelter from the 119, Corky is one of the most interesting. He is both one of the most challenging and yet most promising. Blessed with such total cuteness ( he looks like many a movie dog) that you just want to cuddle him, he can be really hard to touch. While he likes to stand on your lap , try to pet him and he's gone. He can be independent around the other dogs and yet at times seems to be the one they are all following. And he loves to see just how many blankets he can pull into his bed from the other beds , he will still let his bunk mate curl up in it with him. While Corky can be bossy with the other dogs he really enjoys running in the yard with them. We are not sure if he is related to any of the others as he looks quite different from them. Corky will not get overlooked in the crowd. Corky is very slow to trust and everything is baby steps with him. However, when he responds we are always so excited. Being stood on by Corky is a good thing. As always housetraining is a work in progress with these dogs. Corky is looking for a home that has the time to put into him to bring out that movie star dog and let him shine.
