Shelter: BC SPCA - South Okanagan/Similkameen Branch Animal ID: 537152 Birthdate: October 12, 2020 - Young Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Male James is a special kind of guy who's going to need a special kind of person. James is your typical boy's boy. He likes to come out after dark and hang out with the gang, and as far as mom and dad go, he wants to be left alone. James loves to watch the world go by and does a lot of exploring to find all the best spots to watch and lounge, then on to the next, a real rambling man. So far James has not allowed us to touch him, but continually makes his presence known by being in the middle of whatever's going on, at an arms length. He responds to play. Because James is so bonded to his pals, it's possible that upon entering a home where his pals are people, he may come around to developing that same kind of bond. In the meantime, James will require a patient person who can enjoy his presence without needing his physical affection, and allow him the space to move at his own pace. If you like the strong silent type, James may be your guy. Because James is waiting to be neutered, he will be available for "foster to adopt"... meaning his new person will need to be in the local area and foster James until he is neutered, after which they can proceed with the adoption. ***In order to protect the health of our staff, volunteers and members of the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, we've made changes to our adoption process. 1. View profile: adopt.spca.bc.ca 2. Submit an application: spca.bc.ca/adoption/application-forms/ 3. Staff will contact the first suitable, local applicant to arrange a meet & greet! ?? Thank you for continuing to help animals find loving new homes! This enables us to keep caring for new animals at risk, even with limited staffing.
