DESC ServicesCommunity Support Workers DESC Services is a social service agency that supports adults with developmental disabilities. We are in the process of accepting a new residential client in our home in Winfield and are currently looking for Community Support Workers to fill full time, part time and on call positions including 8-330, 330-11 and overnights. We also looking for PT and on-call CSW's in our residential homes in Vernon. Successful candidates will have current CPR/First aid, drivers' licence, access to a reliable vehicle and preferably have relevant post secondary education and experience in the field. Training can be provided to applicants who show an aptitude for the position but may not have direct education or experience. Experience with mental health issues, Autism, FASD, individuals with communication challenges or CPI training an asset.
