Toby - Domestic Short Hair Cat

Shelter: BC SPCA - Shuswap Animal ID: 482911 Birthdate: July 13, 2018 - Young Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male Kekuli and Toby didn't know each other until they met at our shelter. They both came from similar backgrounds where they were used to seeing people but had not been handled. These boys have formed a strong friendship while they've been here. They love to squash together into a bed and be snuggle buddies together. We've been working hard to make these beautiful boys adoptable, it's taken a few months for them to trust us and while Toby is more comfortable with us than Kuli, Kuli is getting there. They love to be brushed and they love to eat, Kuli will purr and flop on his side when someone he knows talks to him and Toby will allow himself to be picked up and carried quite confidently considering he is still a bit nervous. Toby needs some dental work which is scheduled to be done shortly but we would love for these guys to be in a home as soon as possible. A home with another cat who is friendly and confident and could be a great role model would be perfect. They are both very tidy and great with using their litter pan. They'll need to be kept indoors only until they are bonded with their new home. If you are experienced with nervous and/or feral cats or feel like you could be a good fit for these boys and would truly like to rescue a difficult to adopt pair or would just like to meet them or talk about them please contact us. If we have to, we will separate them to get them into homes, but they will need to have another cat buddy that will love them in their new homes.
