Pipelayer (Vernon, Armstrong, Princeton)

Pipelayer Key Information: • Must have at least 2 years experience as a pipelayer. • Must be able to install valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts. • Must be able to install concrete pipe, pvc pipe, MH's and CB's • Hours Various shifts, project dependent, 12-hour days • Must be willing to working evenings and weekends (Various shift rotations) • Hourly rate is dependent on experience. • Health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered. Job Description: • Installing water valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts. • Installing concrete pipe, pvc pipe, MH's, and CB's. • Communicating with the Foreperson, Operators, and Crew members. • Cut/bevel pipe to ensure proper pipe placement. • Use surveying and grade to properly place pipe. Experience and Certification Requirements: • Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Topman/woman for various sewer and water projects required. • Must have a strong understanding of reading grade. • Must understanding surveying. • Must be able to do elevation shots. • Must be able to read and understand drawings. • CSTS-09 or 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection required. • Valid Drivers license and reliable vehicle - Drivers abstract required.
