Position Overview Reporting to the Director of Projects, the Project Manager is responsible for heavy industrial Decommissioning and Demolition mobile projects across B.C. and Alberta. The Project Manager leads all elements of the project from initiation through to post-implementation, while coordinating more than one project at any one time depending on the maturity/complexity level of project(s). In addition, the Project Manager manages schedules, arranges assignments, and communicates progress to all team members. This position will also be supported in collaboration with a full-time Project Coordinator. Responsibilities * Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects. * Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. * Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. * Ensures resource availability and allocation. * Develops a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. * Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. * Measures performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques. * Reports and escalate to management as needed. * Performs risk management to minimize potential risks. * Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors. * Meets with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project. * * Delegates project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels. * Tracks project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals. * Meets budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis. * Develops comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members. * Uses and continually develop leadership skills. * Attends conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency. * Develops spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs. * Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications * Decommissioning and Demolition experience required. * 3+ years of Management experience. * 3+ years of experience managing personnel. * Post-secondary education in Project Management an asset. * Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling, and safety regulations. * Ability to handle daily challenges, keeping a project on schedule and on budget. * Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Knowledge of WorkSafeBC Health & Safety legislation and regulations. * Ability to travel across B.C. and AB to site locations to assist. * Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record. * Proficiency with MS Office Suite and SAP software.Pay * - $95K to 120K per yearWhy Work for ABC Recycling * Make a Difference:Join us in meaningful work that has a positive impact on the environment and contributes to a sustainable future. * Industry Leader:Be part of the largest metal recycler company in Western Canada, where industry-leading practices drive our success. * Comprehensive benefits package:Extended health & dental, healthcare spending account, group RRSP with employer matching, employee & family assistance program. * Volunteer Opportunities:Give back to our local communities with paid volunteer time. * * Recognition and Growth:Experience employee recognition programs and opportunities for professional development and career advancement.*We are an equal opportunity employer and thank you for your interest.
