Shelter: BC SPCA - Shuswap Branch Animal ID: 525279 Birthdate: March 11, 2017 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female *in foster care* Meet Minnie; she's fairly shy to meet new people because of a history of mistrust. With patience and a gentle, quiet home, she'll be your shadow in time. In her foster home for nearly 3 months, she is becoming more used to noises like the blender, TV, doors opening/closing, and car rides but many things still make her very nervous. Minnie loves to follow her nose on her daily walks and will need to be onleash only. Her new forever home will treat her like an indoor/outdoor family pet and will not have cats or other small animals. She's never been around children so they might be too unpredictable. Minnie enjoys having another dog to play with though so positive reinforcement and slow introductions will be necessary. Please research the coonhound breed prior to applying to adopt; Minnie is gentle soul who deserves a patient, loving home. She loves her toy box of stuffies, bones and balls.
